They were mounted on 14 karat posts.  I have owned a pair of pearl earrings before but I really liked how these looked. They were not to big for my ears and my daughter can even wear them. The shipping was very quick and the packaging and information that the earrings came with was great! I loved reading about the pearls. I was also sent a polishing kit that kept them shinning. They also came with an certified appraisal.
